UKPSF-RSB bilogo squareThe UK Plant Sciences Federation is a special interest group of the Royal Society of Biology that brings together the breadth of UK plant sciences to:

-Increase understanding of the significance of plant science amongst government, funders, industry and society in general.
-Formulate a coordinated strategy and vision for plant science in the UK which can be utilised to inform policy.
-Help to improve the general funding environment for UK plant and science research and education.
-Create a forum for debate that is independent and inclusive.
-Provide a focus and contact point for UK plant science.
-Support efforts to inspire, educate and train the next generation of plant scientists.

The UKPSF operates with financial support from the Society for Experimental Biology (SEB), the Biochemical Society and the British Society for Plant Pathology (BSPP).
